I'm sorry that I feel compelled to do it. Believe me, I've looked in the mirror long and hard this last week and have agonized over how to proceed. If I had another means, I would.

The single biggest way someone could get me to stop is for someone I respected to tell me that I am wrong. Not in my approach, but in my basic premise. All I get is people in authority assuring us we don't have all the facts. Duh. That is by choice, not by legal restriction. Spyed has the legal authority to waive any NDA covering anyone in the company. He has that legal authority by his position as CEO. He chooses to keep us in the dark and therefore civil acts are in my view way more than justified.

Which is not to say I am not feeling essentially like your avatar looks in doing so. I take no joy from this.

You do what you feel is right. I'll do what I feel is right. I hope as long as we do, however this turns out we all remember that.

I'm not trying to be confrontational here, but what else would you suggest we do? When we find information that directly contradicts some of the things we are currently being told, shouldn't it be brought to light?

The very easy answer to all of this is for the powers that be to break their silence. It's been over a week now, and there hasn't even been an official announcement about °jark's release. Personal conflicts between °jark and $spyed aside, don't °jark's contributions to the site and the community at least deserve to be recognized?

It's fairly obvious that people's protests won't result in °jark being brought back on to the staff. That's something that will likely only be resolved through the courts, and if that's the case, then so be it. However, doesn't there come a point where people's demands for information will have to be met?

I don't want to be confrontational and PLEASE know that I really do agree with you more than it may seem based on my recent journal entry, etc. But I'm very troubled by the fact that Scott himself listed Angelo as his co-founder on his own dA page up until fairly recently. Why would he say that if it weren't true? To be nice? If that's the answer, then I understand. Perhaps he and Angelo had some understanding. But I wish Scott would tell us the truth as well. Was Angelo a co-founder or not? If not, then why did Scott claim he was? If he was, then why is Scott claiming he wasn't? All I want is the truth and I don't feel that either side is giving it to me.

Dammit, I should have known that you'd take it that way. Sorry. I was actually unsure which demands you were talking about, since there were ones in the other email. I should have just taken more time and described them rather than just doing the copy past thing.

I'm not going to confront you, but I am going to attempt at some point to get you answers. Probably not here though since I've already made a mess of your journal. It'll either be a note or some other less annoying method. Peace.

That should refute a fair amount of nonsense that's been going around, as well as illustrate why information gleaned from archived versions of the site is quite unreliable.
